Introduction: This project emphasizes on the development of a high-rate charging and discharging lithium battery energy storage system, and studies methods to reduce the cost of the lithium battery energy storage system, and key technologies such as battery energy storage, coordination and operation of thermal power. It is also aimed at improving the ability of peak shaving and frequency regulation of the power grid, providing countermeasures for the absorption problem of new energy generation, exploring the application of financial leasing model in large-scale energy storage power station, finding out the business model which is suitable for the rapid development of large-scale energy storage power station.
